Looking for something sweet? Milwaukee has lots of vegan desserts, from cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery to vegan soy ice cream and gelato--you can find it all here.
East Side Ovens - You can find them at the South Shore Farmer's Market in the summer/fall months or at their location on Saturday mornings. Otherwise, you can find their bakery goods at Outpost Natural Foods, Whole Foods, and Beans and Barley to name a few. They will do special orders if you call ahead. They now have a retail location in Cudahy and just started offering doughnuts too!
Blooming Lotus Bakery - All-vegan, grain-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, peanut-free, egg-free and cane sugar-free bakery. They have breads as well as desserts.
Beans and Barley - Their bakery always has vegan options and you can special order fantastic vegan cakes. See the additional listing under American restaurants.
Babe's Ice Cream - Located in the Bay View neighborhood, Babe's has at least two or three soy ice cream options each day, and now they're also offering vegan ice cream cakes, shakes, and ice cream sandwiches, as well as vegan ice cream sundaes with your choice of toppings (even vegan brownie bits!). Great people--they're always happy to help a vegan out! They are usually open from the end of February through October--check their site for details on hours.
Holey Moley Coffee & Doughnuts - Located in the Third Ward on Milwaukee Street (in the old Milwaukee Cupcake Company location), this unique coffee and doughnut shoppe opened up in the Summer of 2014 offering at least one vegan doughnut option per day and the ability to pre-order vegan doughnuts to show off to your coworkers! Get there early or order ahead because they sell out fast!
Batches - Opened in Feb 2018, this bakery has a number of fantastic vegan options including cookies, brownies, gluten free cheesecakes, lemon/blueberry bread and at least one vegan ice cream flavor every day. They also make the desserts for DanDan, which is across the street from where they're located in the Third Ward area of Milwaukee.
Cranky Al's - As of April 2018, they are now offering a selection of vegan doughnuts alongside their regular offerings. Call ahead to order a dozen if you want to be sure they're available. Current flavors are glazed, cinnamon sugar, chocolate, chocolate sprinkles, and chocolate Oreo.
Honeypie - There is always a selection of vegan desserts here including cupcakes and pies. You'll definitely find something you'll like since they always have a good selection. See the listing under American restaurants as well.
Comet Cafe - They always have some kind of vegan desserts here. My favorites have been the Chai Cupcake or the Pumpkin Spice Cupcake. They are different all the time, but there's always something good.
Molly's Gluten-Free Bakery - Located in Pewaukee, WI, this bakery specializes in gluten-free baked goods, but they also have a decent selection of egg and dairy-free items as well. Keep an eye out for the chicken/cow symbol to see which are available vegan-style. They do offer catering, so contact them for more info.
Outpost Natural Foods - They always have a selection of different vegan desserts in their deli area. They can make special order cakes by request.
Whole Foods Market - Located on the East Side on Prospect Avenue, Whole Foods offers several vegan dessert options to-go from East Side Ovens, Candle Cafe and Chicago Diner.
Miss Molly's Cafe - A small cafe on Center Street that has several vegan options for breakfast and lunch, including some bakery!

Divino Gelato Cafe - They have locations in Waukesha, Brookfield and Racine. Their Sorbettos are marked as dairy free.
Cold Spoons - A cute little place offering a changing rotation of 24 flavors of gelato and sorbetto. All 12 of the sorbettos are vegan, and they sometimes offer one or two gelatos that are soy-based (and vegan).
Smart Cow Yogurt Bar - There is a location in Menomonee Falls that appears to have some vegan sorbets. Ask your server for details or check the nutritional info on their website.
