Vegan Soups and Chilis
You can find some delicious vegan soup or chili to warm you up at several restaurants throughout Milwaukee.
Fuel Cafe - Vegan chili is served up each weekend until it's gone. Comes with fresh bread and you might even be able to get vegan sour cream.
Real Chili - This Milwaukee legend now offers a vegan chili I'm told. Their online presence is minimal, so be sure to confirm on your first visit.
Comet Cafe - Previously owned by the same folks as Fuel, their chili is similar, but still unique. Have it as a meal any day of the week or have a cup on the side with a vegan sandwich.
Beans & Barley - They offer a different take on vegan chili using bulgar wheat. Served with a fresh roll and vegan butter if you ask. Avocado and onions are also available toppings. Available any time of day. In addition, they offer a delicious vegan soup-of-the-day everyday!
The Soup House - This downtown soup restaurant has a vegan option each day and a nice atmosphere.
The Soup Market - They have three locations including Bay View, The Milwaukee Public Market, and Hales Corners. They often offer vegan soups--check the website for their soup forecast.
The Soup Otzie's - Remember that Seinfeld episode with the soup Nazi...yeah, the name is kinda like that, but the people are nicer. They offer vegetarian options everyday with vegan options fairly often. Download their monthly menu to plan a visit!
Hi Fi Cafe - They have a vegan chili that is different than all the others. Warm up with some coffee or tea and a cup of chili.
