This year Citizens United for Animals (CUFA) is organizing the Milwaukee Vegan Thanksgiving in coordination with Milwaukee Area Resources for Vegetarianism (MARV). The set-up is essentially the same with them providing the tofurkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and beverages and then the attendees bring all the other dishes pot-luck style.
I love this event--I've been going every year since I've been vegan (that's since 2004)! I like to bring my mom along and I've seen other people bring their non-vegan friends and family. This is a great opportunity to share vegan food with people who may not have tried it. My mom loves to try making a new vegan dish each year to share (and so do I)!

Date: Sunday November 24, 2013
Time: 5:00pm, with dinner served at 5:30 (first come, first served)
Place: Wil-o-Way Underwood - 10602 Underwood Parkway, Wauwatosa.

Donation: $7 (adults & teens) and $3 (children 5-12) with a dish to pass or $13 (adults & teens) and $6 (children) without bringing a dish.
