In September, it was the first anniversary of the Vegan Cuts snack box--yay!! For those of you not familiar, Vegan Cuts offers a monthly snack box filled with all-vegan goodies delivered to your door for $19.95. Every month is different, but you can always count on discovering a new favorite!
To give you an example of what to expect, let me introduce you to the contents of my September Vegan Cuts snack box.
First, let's take a look at that full size bag of tasty vegetable chips! These Kiwa chips are new to me and they contain a variety of chips including beet, cassava, parsnip, plantain and sweet potato. I don't even like beets and the beet chips were great! I loved these and my dog approves them as well.
Next up, another new product--Meatless Select Fishless Tuna! I was one of those people who loved "Tuno" when it was still on the market, but with that leaving years ago, it left a void in the faux tuna market. I haven't tried this yet, but I'm looking forward to a faux tuna salad sandwich with veganaise, celery, onions and a little dill relish. This might be a great alternative to using chickpeas (which I also love)!
These "home free" mini double chocolate chip cookies were the first to be eaten. They were super-tasty and what? They are also gluten and nut free! This is great for people with those types of allergies. Plus, it's whole-grain, so you can tell yourself it's health food!
In my house, we like to fight off any colds at the first sign with any natural method we can get our hands on. I'm looking forward to trying this Herbal Zap! and hopefully adding it to my short list of immune boosters and cold-fighters.
If you like bananas, I bet these are awesome. I, on the other hand, am totally grossed out by bananas. This raw, organic banana snack was gifted to my mom to snack on!
It's hard to find a decent sunscreen that's vegan and doesn't contain all those awful chemicals. I'm excited to give Sunology sunscreen a try. Hey, even though it's not summer, it's still sunny out!
Another great gluten-free option is this savory nutrition bar by JourneyBar. When you're not in the mood for something sweet, this might be the way to go for some quick nutrition and energy.
Time for a healthy breakfast! Gluten and sugar free with blueberries and dates and all those power seeds!
Oooh, another healthy, raw, organic snack bar! I can't wait to try it...so many good things to snack on this month!
That's just a taste of what you're in for each month when you subscribe to the Vegan Cuts Snack Box. You get to try all these awesome vegan products that you might have never known existed. You can also buy individual products in their Marketplace from lots of great vegan companies. And, if you're into make-up and other beauty products, they also have a monthly Beauty Box that will introduce you to all kinds of fun new products.
Vegan Cuts is sort of one of our sponsors too--we belong to their ambassador program, so any new purchases through these links helps raise a little money to keep the site going. Thanks a bunch!! :)
