Help the good folks at Wisconsin's first and only farm sanctuary raise money to care for their animals and provide educational youth programs! Heartland Farm Sanctuary in Madison is having a Barn Dance event on Saturday November 12th. This is an all-ages events with activities for both adults and kids.
It will take place at Full Compass Systems on Madison's west side (9770 Silicon Prairie Parkway) from 4-7pm. A vegan dinner will be provided by Whole Foods, Willy Street Co-op and Bunky Cafe. Ale Asylum will be donating the beer. There will be a silent auction with lots of great items including gift certificates, a Dells Kalahari family vacation package, unique piggy banks decorated by local artists and more. Live music will be performed by Dark of the Moon Contra with dance caller Reid Miller.
Kids will enjoy crafts, face painting and meeting some of the resident sanctuary animals right outside the studio.
The cost is $25 per person or $75 per family. You can buy tickets on their website and you can spread the word through their Facebook event post.
